After having obtained the pre-master's and master's degree in classical interpretation of the saxophone at the university of arts, Het conservatorium van Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, with Arno Bornkamp, now Carlos is doing an post- grade specialized in transcriptions from other eras and instruments, applying it to its various duos with piano and ensembles.
Committed to integrate the saxophone into a more classical circle, music from other centuries where the saxophone was not invented, Carlos collaborates with the Dutch opera company The Fat Lady Operagroup, where they introduce the saxophone into the operatic work of any opera.
He performs various concerts throughout the Dutch geography in venues such as Royal concertgebow, Muziekgebow Amsterdam, Muziegebow Eindhoven. Also, just as he did a concert as a solo saxophone and orchestra at the Palau de la Música in Valencia.
During his years of study he has been awarded in several international competitions in Spain, Italy, China and Germany on several occasions.
In 2015 he was selected to be part of the orchestra of winds of the European Union
for a European tour.
During all this time he has received masterclasses from professors such as Nobuya Sugawa, Claude Delangle, JD Michat and many others.
He is currently part of several duos with piano, with pianists Aliya Ishkakova, Victor Naranjo and Jose Alberto del Cerro, performed concerts in Spain and Holland.
